Who are they?
HMS Temeraire is the home of the Royal Navy's Physical Training School — based in Portsmouth, it's where the Navy trains and qualifies its Physical Training Instructors to the highest standard.
The LPTQC (Leading Physical Training Qualification Course) is one of the most demanding instructor programmes in the armed forces, producing PTIs who go on to maintain the fitness and physical readiness of personnel across the entire Royal Navy.
How did we help?
The LPTQC course runs almost entirely behind closed doors. Outside of those who've been through it, very few people within the Navy — let alone the public — know what it actually involves.
The brief was to embed a videographer throughout the full course and produce films that could be shared within the Royal Navy — showing how PTIs are trained, what the course demands, and the standard it takes to pass.
Several of the films were premiered at the passout graduation ceremony.
Deliverables
